We woke Easter morning to find the Easter Bunny had managed to find the kids on vacation. I should have taken some pictures of the kids all dressed up so beautifully but we were in too much of a hurry for church even though it started at eleven (yes, we slept in again!) We arrived a bit late at church because it was over an hour away. Because we were tardy, we headed to the overflow seating area, expecting there not to be any seats in the chapel but lo and behold, there were tons of seats. The ward is extremely small. In fact, there were no young women at all in the ward. Rachel had to go to Relief Society with me where there were about seven people. The twins and Spencer were in the same class in primary and they only had about 10-15 kids in the entire primary! Crazy! What a contrast from our ward where we have 10-15 kids in each class! I talked with a woman from the ward that meets before the ward we attended and she told me they recently divided the ward and though they had enough priesthood, all the youth and the primary were in her ward.
After church, we stopped for lunch at a restaurant and then drove back to the hotel and took a Sunday nap. When we woke up, the girls wanted to take a walk. Spencer didn't feel like it so I left him at the hotel with Paul with a book and some activities to do at the hotel. We drove to the beach and walked along it. It was sunset and I was able to get some beautiful pictures of the girls there. When we returned to the hotel, Spencer and Paul were fast asleep. They were so cute!! That evening, we had a light dinner and then went to bed.
