Spencer and Rachel were talking in the back seat on the way to school. This conversation illustrates very well the differences between girls and boys.
Spencer: "Steaks come from cows, right? Do they cut a part of the rib off for it?"
Mommy: "Talk about something else. That's gross."
Rachel: "Yeah, Spencer, that's gross. Let's talk about butterflies. They're so pretty!"
Spencer: "Okay, let's talk about Butterfly Pirates. They have little swords because they're so tiny."
I sometimes wonder how to relate to the male species. . . you can see why.
